ANDREAS Lust

ACTOR

The Berliner by choice and globetrotter was born in Vienna in '67.
After a 2-year stay in Venezuela and his first contacts with performance and theater, he began his successful career by studying at the Mozarteum Salzburg.

He quickly discovered his great love for filmmaking and starred in the Berlinale competition film "The Robber," for which he received the first Austrian Film Award for Best Leading Actor and the Diagonale Acting Award.

Furthermore, he played in the Oscar-nominated film "Revanche," by Götz Spielmann, and received the Günther Rohrbach Prize as well as a nomination for the German Film Prize for his performance in "Casting," by Nicolaus Wackerbarth.

"...Andreas Lust gives a convincingly moving performance that gets to the core of Carsten's emotional truth. He physically resembles Robert Redford who also had many moments of silence in All is Lost. Lust, like Redford, knows how to convey emotions in a naturalistic way while providing you with a glimpse into the soul and inner life of Carsten..."
