Patricia Barona holds more than twenty years of experience in representation, film production, and film financing. Patricia completed a master’s degree in business administration and communications at the University of Hamburg and Lüneburg, and the European master’s programme in audiovisual management MEGA at the Media Business School in Spain. She began her career at the FilmFund Hamburg and Filmfest Hamburg. She then worked as a creative producer, in business affairs, in film financing, and as a producer for several years before becoming a talent agent with Above the Line.

For Patricia, representing clients is an opportunity to offer not only industry-leading contractual and financial representation, but also creative feedback and mentorship to talents as they tell their own stories and develop their careers. Originally from Mexico, she now lives and works in Berlin.

As one of Talent Republic’s four CEOs, Patricia represents writers, directors, and cinematographers.

Claudia Holze

Assistant

With a love for the creative arts industry, Claudia Holze got her start working at a cultural music and literature festival before working for the Berlinale at the section Perspektive Deutsches Kino. Following this she was engaged as a production assistant for the renowned FIRST STEPS Awards for the new generations of filmmakers.

With her background of cultural studies and social sciences, she has an interest in supporting and uplifting creative voices to be seen and joined Patricia Barona at Talent Republic Agency in the writing, directing, and cinematography department in 2025.
