Madörin graduated with the Bachelor of Arts in Film from the Zurich University of the Arts and won her first camera award with her final project, the short film "Storm". After working as an assistant camera on numerous national and international film productions Madörin completed a Master's degree in Cinematography at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.
