Carole Sonderegger is Talent Republic’s youngest CEO. She trained in visual communications at Hochschule für Gestaltung und Kunst Basel, where she learned how to guide creative projects from an initial artistic concept through to realization across multimedia. She then worked for a photographers agency and production company, worked on-set in film productions, and as a freelance visual artist. After further education in scriptwriting and dramaturgy, Carole began training and working as a talent representative with Above the Line in 2014.

She brings her own experience as a creative and producer to her understanding of and advocacy for her clients’ creative visions. Originally from Zurich, she now lives and works in Berlin.

As one of Talent Republic’s four CEOs, Carole represents writers, directors, and cinematographers.

SASCHA GOTTSCHALCK

Sascha Gottschalck has been working in the film industry for more than twenty years as corporate counsel and in additional roles. Most recently as Director Business Affairs & Film Politics at Seven.One Entertainment Group and Director Business Affairs at SevenPictures. During this time, he was a member of the funding commissions for production and development as well as for minority international co-productions at the German Federal Film Board, where he also served as a deputy member of the administrative board.

Over the years, he has supported and advised authors, directors and actors on a project-by-project basis and was part of the First Steps organizing committee.

Sascha Gottschalck studied law in Passau and Munich and European history and politics in France. He completed his second state examination at the Regional Court of Frankfurt (Oder) with an elective placement in Cambodia. He is a lecturer at the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.
