SINJE KÖHLER

DIRECTOR/WRITER

Sinje Köhler is a German director and screenwriter born in Darmstadt in 1988. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Motion Pictures at the University of Applied Sciences Darmstadt, she graduated with a degree in Directing from the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg.

Sinje Köhler’s films have enjoyed numerous international successes, including a nomination for the Student Oscar for her short film “Freibadsinfonie.” In 2020, swas a participant in the prestigious mentoring program "Into the Wild" for female filmmakers. “Viva Forever,” which premiered at the Filmfest Munich in 2021, was Köhler’s first self-written feature film.

Sinje Köhler is represented by Carole Sonderegger.
