LUKAS FEIGELFELD
DIRECTOR/WRITER
Lukas Feigelfeld's work focuses on narrative cinema, while ranging to music videos and video art. His award winning first feature film "Hagazussa" premiered at BFI London Film Festival and Fantastic Fest Austin/US, and received international distribution. In Germany it won the First Steps Award for Best Feature as well as Best Cinematography.
Lukas Feigelfeld is a graduate of the German Film and Television Academy Berlin (dffb) and studied Photography and audio visual Media at die Graphische / Vienna.
In 2010 he co-founded the film production company Retina Fabrik. He lives in Berlin with ties to Vienna and São Paulo.
In 2021/22 he assisted Jonathan Glazer as a German Dialogue Consultant on his film “The Zone of Interest” (Festival de Cannes - Grand Prix 2023). Currently Feigelfeld is working on his next feature film, an international project in English.
