Alisa Kolosova

DIRECTOR/Writer

Alisa Kolosova is a director and writer who was born in a Soviet-era apartment block in Saint Petersburg and raised in the West German countryside. Kolosova`s work is shaped by contrast. 

After studying Slavic Studies at the University of Cologne, she pursued her true passion for filmmaking and gratuated in Directing from the ifs international filmschool Cologne. 

“Charly”, her graduation film, premiered at the 2021 Hof International Film Festival, and won the Hof Gold Prize for Best Director. 

Kolosova then participated at the screenwriters’ programme Drehbuchwerkstatt München. 

Her debut fiction feature “I Spy With My Little Eye“ premiered at 2026 Tribeca Festival in New York.

She is currently developing her second fiction feature and a documentary film.

In her work, Alisa Kolosova delves into the complex dynamics of friendship and family, often confronting the past in order to get a better understanding of the present.
