ADOLFO J. KOLMERER
DIRECTOR/WRITER
Adolfo J. Kolmerer is an award-winning director who was born in Caracas, Venezuela and is now based in Berlin, Germany.
Soon after getting his degree in informatics, Adolfo decided to do something different. He packed everything he owned into a suitcase, left his home country, and moved to Berlin. While learning German and working various jobs, he was invited to visit a movie set. In that moment, he found his true calling: making films. He learned the ropes of filmmaking quickly and never looked back. He has been doing his dream job ever since: shooting feature films, TV series, commercials, and music videos.
Adolfo works fluently in three languages: English, Spanish and German.

Oderbruch
Adolfo J. Kolmerer's latest project, the eight-part mystery thriller series "Oderbruch," produced by Syrreal Entertainment in co-production with ARD Degeto and CBS Studios, will be available on ARD Mediathek starting January 19, 2024. Author Arend Remmers developed the series concept together with Adolfo J. Kolmerer.
