DIRECTOR/Writer

Félix Koch is a director and writer. He studied directing at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf.

He channeled his passion for meticulous shooting preparation into the previs studio Holy Grid. The studio has supported a range of German productions, including "Fack ju Göhte 2" and "Vier gegen die Bank".

Félix’s first feature film, which he directed and wrote, Superjhemp Retörns, became Luxembourg’s most successful film of all time. It broke box-office records, with around 10% of the country’s population seeing it in cinemas.

Following this, he directed several TV series, including the feature-length prime-time special "St. Pauli, 6:07 Uhr". The thriller reached an audience of nearly 7 million viewers.

After completing "Balko Teneriffa", two action-comedy movies, Félix is currently directing the near-future sci-fi thriller series "Droneland", based on Tom Hillenbrand’s bestselling novel.

At present, he is developing a major family adventure film produced by Studio Hamburg, which is set in the captivating world of Hamburg's Miniatur Wunderland — the world's largest miniature exhibition.

Félix is fluent in English, French, Luxembourgish and German.
He lives in Luxembourg and Berlin.

Félix Koch is represented by Patricia Barona.
