LIA VON BLARER
ACTRESS
Lia von Blarer (born 1992 in Liestal, Switzerland) is a German-Swiss actress. She grew up in the Basel-Landschaft region of Switzerland and later moved to Berlin. From 2014 to 2018, she studied acting at the Rostock University of Music and Theatre and also completed an Erasmus semester at the École supérieure d'art dramatique in Paris. Today, she lives and works in both Berlin and Paris.
Lia von Blarer became widely known for her role as Emma in the award-winning series MaPa. She has also appeared in several notable productions, including Eldorado KaDeWe, Kafka, Youth Topia, Bad Influencer, and the ARD series Hundertdreizehn. In addition to her work in film and television, she regularly performs on stage.
Lia von Blarer is regarded as a versatile actress who often portrays complex and multi-layered characters. During her studies, she received several scholarships and awards for young talent. Through her role in MaPa, she was part of a production that was nominated for both the German Television Award and the Grimme Award.

BLIND
Lia von Blarer just finished shooting for a new series “Blind,” directed by Christian Johannes Koch and Barbara Kulcsar. It was produced by Zodiac Pictures.
NOMINATION DEUTSCHER SCHAUSPIELPREIS 2026
Lia von Blarer has been nominated for Deutscher Schauspielpreis in the category Duo for her performance in the series “Hundertdreizehn.”

Lia von Blarer will be seen in “The Girl with the Leica,”directed by Alina Marazzi.
