Named the Shooting Star of the Berlinale 2009, Alba Rohrwachrer is an international film star. She has worked with, among others: Isabel Coixet, Stéphan Brizé, Noah Baumbach, Luca Guadagnino, Saverio Costanzo, Alice Rohrwacher, Laura Bispuri, Marco Bellocchio, Matteo Garrone, Paola Genovese, Markus Schleinzer, Gianni Zanasi, Bas Devos, Ginevra Elkann, Jonathan Nossiter, Maggie Gyllenhaal, and Nanni Moretti.
She portrays the leading role Elena Greco in the last season of the international renowned show “My Brilliant Friend,” directed by Saverio Costanzo. With her films and as a jury member, she is a regular guest at the festivals in Cannes, Venice, Berlin and Toronto.
Most recently, she appeared at several festivals with her latest projects such as “Jay Kelly,” by Noah Baumbach at La Biennale di Venezia and “Three Goodbyes / Tre Ciotole,” by Isabel Coixet at the 50th Toronto International Film Festival.

My Brilliant Friend
Alba Rohrwacher is playing a leading role in the fourth season of the Italian coming-of-age drama television series “My Brilliant Friend,” created by Saverio Costanzo for HBO, RAI and TIMvision, and produced by Fandango. Directors of the show are Saverio Costanzo, Alice Rohrwacher, and Daniele Luchetti.
